Palm Pre UK Release Date and Prices Confirmed

Mark the 16th of October in your diaries as the official UK release date for the new Palm Pre. The Palm Pre is going to be available exclusively on the O2 network and possibly only through the O2 web site.
The Palm Pre is the first phone to use Palms new WebOS operating system, a sompletely new OS built from the ground up to rival the iPhone and Windows Mobile 6.5.
O2 Palm pre deals all include unlimited data for web browsing and email and is available on an 18 month plan from £29.38 with an upfront cost of £96.89 with 75 mins and 125 texts. Also available from free on a £44/month 18 month plan or £34.26/month 24 month plan.
