The Apple iPhone is soon going to be available on more networks. O2 have had an exclusivity deal running with O2 since its launch several years ago. However this deal is coming to an end and both Orange and Vodafone have announced that they will be selling the iPhone in the not too distant future.
Orange have confirmed that they will be making the iPhone available in the coming months where as Vodafone suggest that they will not be selling the iPhone until early 2010. Neither company have so far indicated pricing structures or tariffs.
Also unclear is whether independent retailers will be able to sell the iPhone or whether customers will have to buy direct from the networks. Currently Carphone Warehouse are the only independent retailer allowed to sell the iPhone.
As pricing and deals become available we will make them available on the site for head to head comparison.
