The BlackBerry Curve 8900 had it's name changed last minute, it was going to be called the BlackBerry Javelin which would have followed in naming convention of devices like the BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Storm. Instead they just classified it in to the Curve Range.
Never the less it is still a great device, smaller and thinner than previous Curve devices and the BlackBerry Bold which it is in many ways similar too.
It features a large 480x360 hi res screen, WiFi and GPS, 3.2 mega-pixel camera, video player, IM and the usual phone, email and web browsing features you would expect.
You can currently get the BlackBerry Curve 8900 Free on T-Mobile for only £31.50 a month (no cash back redemptions required). OneStop are also doing a number of incentive and cash back deals and Carphone Warehouse are offering and exclusive Titanium edition. It is also available to buy sim free online.
