Buy the Apple iPhone Sim Free

Play.com has become the first UK retailer to sell the Apple iPhone without a contract, completely unlocked and sim free.
Officially, the Apple iPhone in the UK is only available on contract from O2 and can be purchased direct from only a small selection of retailers - Apple, O2, Carphone Warehouse and Mobiles.co.uk.
Because Play.com is based outside of the UK in Jersey they can take advantage of a European anti-competitive ruling prohibiting the iPhone from only being available on one network.
While the iPhone is widely available unofficialy on sites like eBay you may not know who you are buying from or whether you are getting a hacked version of the phone. With Play.com you can atleast take comfort in dealing with a major retailer with a watertight returns policy and safe in the knowledge you are buying official unlocked EU stock.
The iPhone 3G 8GB is £549.99 and the iPhone 3G 16GB Black and iPhone 3G 16GB White costs £599.99.
