The LG GC900 Viewty Smart (Black) is the successor the hugely successful LG Viewty which sold over 6.5 million units Worldwide.

The LG Viwety Smart GC900 (Black) boasts that it is the thinnest 8 mega-pixel camera phone at only 12.4mm deep. The casing is indeed thin and slick with a minimalist look to it with the emphasis being given over to its large touch WVGA 800 x 480 resolution screen.

The camera is one of the key features to have been improved on the LG Viewty Smart and includes Intelligent Shot Mode, which analyzes the subject, background, and lighting conditions and compares the data against seven pre-programmed scenarios to take perfect pictures every time. The camera has an ISO sensitivity of 1600 which means it can clearer images in low light conditions. The camera also records DVD D1 quality video.

The LG Viewty Smart uses the same interface as the LG KM900 Arena - 3D S-Class, which has had a few tweaks to work around the improved camera features. Other fetaures include HSDPA (3.5G) and WiFi connectivity, photo internet sharing, A-GPS and photo geotagging. Internal memory is 1.5GB and can be upgraded to 32GB via MicroSD.

The LG Viewty is an excellent quality camera phone with several features only found on high end digital compact cameras or D-SLRs. Following in the footsteps of the original Viewty it has a lot to live up to but all in all this is a great device which will prove popular.
