The Toshiba TG01 is the first PDA/Smartphone to feature the Snapdragon processor. It is also incredibly thin measuring less than 10mm.

The Toshiba TG01 is a WIndows Mobile multimedia device boasting a huge 4.1" WVGA high resolution (800x480 pixels) screen inside a thin 9.9mm body. Its minimal design is pitched against the iPhone and is a few millimeters thinner. Toshiba has opted for Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and have created a customised interface, the home page of which looks a little like a sweety wrapper but no doubt that can be changed by the user.

Most notably the Toshiba TG01 is the first major consumer mobile phone device to feature Qualcomm's new Snapdragon processor. Snapdragon is set to revolutionise the mobile phones by offering enhanced processing power, 1GHz on the Toshiba TG01, low power consumption and integrated cellular 3G modem and GPS receiver. The end result is a more powerful, feature rich device in a smaller form factor and longer battery life.

The other key tech specs of the Toshiba TG01 include HSDPA high speed internet connectivity, GPS, WiFi, MicroSD, microUSB, touchscreen with 3D interface, acceleraometer and shake control, Bluetooth and a 3.5 mega-pixel camera.
