The Acer Tempo DX900 is the Worlds first dual sim phone that supports 3G and 2G connectivity. The Acer DX900 is the first of four phones from Acers new Tempo raneg since the acquisition of Eten.

The Acer DX900 is one of the first Windows Mobile devices from Acer, who last year bought Eten. The phone is dual sim meaning it can take two sim cards allowing you to have two numbers and accounts in one phone - i.e. one for work and one for personal. The first sim slot is quad band and HSDPA (3G) compatable and the second is tri-band and 2G only.

The Acer DX900 features a reasonably sized 2.8" screen with a high 480x640px resolution touch screen. The Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system has been tweaked and includes a widget based user interface. There is a more than adequate 3.2 mega pixel camera and a front mounted video calling camera and also a SiRF Star III GPS receiver for satelitte navegation. Bluetooth, WiFi, USB connection and microSD expansion are all available too as you would expect from a PDA.
