T-Mobile have launched their re-badged version of the HTC Hero available in its own unique shade of black. The T-Mobile G2 Touch is the follow up to their original T-Mobile G1 Android phone.

The T-Mobile G2 Touch is the same device as the HTC Hero and has the exact same spec and features as the HTC Hero. The only major difference is that it is locked to T-Mobile, is black in colour and has T-Mobile branding.

The T-Mobile G2 Touch, powered by the Android operating system now features HTC Sense, a customisable interface that lets you change and adapt the T-Mobile G2 Touch to look and feel just the way you want it. Place widgets on your home page and then customise the widgets design and size to suit your needs.

Open multiple applications at once and flick between them instead of opening, closing and navigating through layers of menus and options.

Also new on the T-Mobile G2 Touch are scenes that let you change the interface depending on your mood or what you want to do, for example set the phone in to a weekend mode and get easy access to features like the music player and camera, or set it to work mode and get easy access to the web and emails.

The T-Mobile G2 Touch amalgamates all yoru contacts and communications channels to make staying in touch easy. Check different email accounts and social network sites so that you never miss an update or vital piece of information.

Basic features like the dialing people are simplified and easy to use, dial the number or type the first few characters of their name and the T-Mobile G2 Touch will filter down through your list of contacts and provide you with all the ways you can contact that person.

The built in search feature searches your entire T-Mobile G2 Touch and extends to emails, Twitter tweets, contacts and appointments.
